An update to our stone fireplace that probably should have been there at the start. Oh well, better late than never! :)
The Before pics:
We added the chamfered limestone mantel some time ago and just recently added the limestone hearth!
You can see in the progress pics how the limestone is drying out, slowly but surely. It must have been outside in the stone yard. We will grout it once completely dry.
Below is a picture of how I want the grout to look. Not too dark and to match the limestone:
