Making Progress

A few kitchen progress pics.  My husband used a sledge hammer to knock down the old tiles as well as the dry wall. It gets pretty dusty & dirty during the demolition. But, we are making progress:

This last pic shows our latest dilemma.  We never did like that the microwave was not flush with the bottom of the cabinets. This Samsung microwave is a little bit larger than our old microwave & so the space between it & the range top is too tight.  We have decided to move the center cabinet & microwave up & put more crown molding around the cabinet. Here is an example of what it will look like:
