Shutter Update

In our master bathroom, we have a little problem. Since we put the Timbertech deck outside the bathroom window, we needed to make sure the view into the bathroom was not visible.   I was inspired by this pic from Tobi Farley's master bath makeover where she used a shuttered window:

This was an old shutter that I've had up for a L-O-N-G time!

This is the window from outside. Hmm, a possible update to the blinds in the bedroom? !!

Enter our new plantation shutter that we ordered from Lowe's:

And here it is all installed. I like that it looks more simplified & a cleaner look from both inside & outside:
